I’ts been extremely hard to blog during this entire nauseating debt-limit debacle. In fact, it’s been even harder to stay tuned in to it.
So I haven’t written, and I haven’t stayed tuned in.
But I can’t avoid it any longer.

A plea for help for homeless animals
I recently fostered a dog for the Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center (CSAC). Sweet Molly was a senior, who are the group most in need; and I lost her a few weeks ago, very sadly, then lost my long-time best canine friend, Snoopy about a week later - a sad time for me this month!
I am still in mourning, and I just can’t take in another dog now - it’s too soon after losing 2 so quickly....
