To the left: Take off those bedroom slippers, and go to OCCUPY PHILADELPHIA this weekend! Now!

I’m sorry, but I put out an message earlier in the week proposing carpools to go to OCCUPY PHILAELPHIA, and no one (out of almost 1,000 on my list) has expressed any interest. An activist friend of mine told me the other day that many of his lefty friends keep criticizing the “occupiers” and their (they think) too-broad messages - “I think it’s a way for them to rationalize doing nothing,” he concluded sadly. 

I find this a sad indicator of our times as far as the left is concerned. 

I keep hearing the question, “Why doesn’t the left have a tea party?” Well, it won’t unless people on the left get mad enough - and too many are simply not mad enough. Maybe things haven’t hit them hard enough yet, particularly out here in Chester County (after all, if you can afford to live out here, you must not be doing that badly, right?) - I don’t know. SOME people are mad enough - and they are in Philadelphia NOW as I write this.

So I’m going to OCCUPY PHILADELPHIA - alone - this afternoon. 

I hope I see SOMEONE, ANYONE I know there - from Chester County.
