Herman Cain: The personification of Republicanism know-nothing-ism
Sometimes Republican presidential candidates reach levels of ignorance that are simply mind-numbing.
Take Herman Cain’s stance on abortion.
Life begins at conception - he assures us of that repeatedly and takes the Republican oath on this issue over and over again.
Yet he’s for a woman’s right to choose. He also has said this repeatedly. (At least he has an intuitive grasp of what’s right in this case - but he doesn’t even know that.)
What is amazing about Cain is that he appears to be totally oblivious to the contradictions inherent in his words. He really doesn’t get it. He has never even thought through this issue, and it’s so painfully obvious to everyone else but him.
And this man could be President of the United States?
Quick, so-called “right-to-lifers”: Put this man out of his misery. He’ll never understand this issue - or any other.
